Questions about registration and «My fanSALE»

Why do I have to provide an email address when registering?
FanSALE sends you a series of important news via email, meaning that email is the central communication medium of our platform. The e-mail address also serves as a username.
How safe is my data when transmitted over the internet?
We encrypt both the personal information and the payment information when transmitting from your computer to our server. In the case of credit card payments, the corresponding data are also encrypted and forwarded to the appropriate institutions.

By clicking on the encrypted pages with the right mouse button and then selecting «Properties», the corresponding SSL certificate can be displayed.
How safe is my data when transmitted over the internet?
Your email address is also your unique username in our system and therefore can not be changed by you. Please contact our customer service via our contact form.
I have a Ticketcorner account and would like to buy fanSALE tickets. Can I use my Ticketcorner login?
Yes, your Ticketcorner login works at fanSALE and vice versa. Therefore, you do not need to register again if you are already a Ticketcorner customer. If you are logged in to Ticketcorner and also go to the fanSALE page, you will be automatically logged in there.
Why can I only register with a Swiss address?
To launch fanSALE in Switzerland, only Swiss addresses (including bank accounts with a Swiss IBAN number) will be admitted.
The offer will be expanded step by step for further countries.
How can I delete my account?
You can not delete your account yourself on fanSALE. Please send us an email via our contact form. Please enter your email address. We will then delete your account. Please also note our general terms and conditions.
How can I change my data?
You can adapt your personal data to fanSALE at any time. Log in to fanSALE by clicking on «My fanSALE» on the start page. In the «My fanSALE» section, click on «My data». There you can overwrite all information, with the exception of the email address, and then save the changes.
Do I have to pay to register?
You will not be charged for registering or listing offers. Fees are only charged if you have successfully purchased or sold an item.

General questions about the expiration and listing of offers

May I sell seats that are not next to each other too?

You may sell any ticket on fanSALE. However, you must describe the tickets truthfully. Information about whether the seats are next to each other or not should always part of every seat description. The more accurately you describe the tickets, the lower the likelihood that the buyer will be dissatisfied.

What does the number of tickets in an offer mean? Is it possible that only a part of my tickets are sold?
"The number always describes the total number of tickets you offer. For example, if you have 2 pairs of seats next to each other, enter "4" as the number and inform prospective buyers in the seat description that not all seats are next to each other. Or list two separate offers with 2 tickets each.
With a fixed price offer, you as a seller can choose whether the offer can be purchased in total, individually or in pairs. With the option "Total" only all offered tickets of your offer can be bought together. With the option "Single" all or only a part of the offered tickets of your offer can be bought. With the option "Pairs" all or only an even number of tickets of your offer can be bought. "
How do I set prices for my tickets?
As a seller, you only have the option to sell the Ticketcorner tickets for the Fair Deal price on fanSALE. Further details on the fair deal price can be found here.
In the case of tickets that are personalized, access authorization is only transferable to third parties under the following conditions:
The third party must assume all rights and obligations arising from the event contract - including the resale prohibition. The access authorization is not transferable if it is sold in a package with other goods/services (with the exception of ticketing services at the market price).
Only if these conditions are met can the name of the originally authorized person be crossed out in the above mentioned blank line and replaced with the name of the third party who acquires the access authorization.
Please note that we can not guarantee that your tickets will actually be sold. fanSALE does not charge a listing fee.
        What is the Ticketcorner Ticketcheck?
Each ticket from the Ticketcorner AG system carries a unique ticket number. When creating offers with Ticketcorner Ticketcheck, this ticket number is entered by the seller. We can then read directly from the ticket system for each ticket, for which event and which seat the ticket was issued and if this ticket is still valid at all.
This has the advantage for the seller that he no longer has to copy the essential information off the ticket. This saves work and prevents accidental misstatements. In addition, offers that have been checked with the Ticketcorner Ticketcheck are of particular interest to potential buyers, as they are additionally protected by the Ticketcorner Guarantee of Authenticity.
This is visible to buyers at first glance through the Ticketcorner Ticketcheck logo on every verified offer.
Which tickets can be verified with the Ticketcorner Ticketcheck?

"All tickets originally purchased through Ticketcorner AG's ticket system can be checked with Ticketcorner TicketCheck. It does not matter whether the tickets were purchased on the Internet (for example on www.ticketcorner.ch), by telephone or at a ticket office. You will recognise tickets from Ticketcorner AG by the printed Ticketcorner lettering on the front and back of the ticket as well as on the hologram "CTSEVENTIM.AG" on the front of the tickets.
Why should I always offer my Ticketcorner tickets for purchase with the Ticketcorner Ticketcheck?
Tickets from Ticketcorner AG's system can be offered on fanSALE in a particularly convenient and safe way with Ticketcorner Ticketcheck. On the "List Offer" page, simply enter the unique ticket numbers of your tickets.
After checking the ticket numbers for validity with the Ticketcorner Ticketcheck, all important data, such as event name, date and venue are read directly from our system and displayed on a summary page along with any other information you have provided.
Upon successful verification, your offer will be marked with the Ticketcorner Ticketcheck logo in the offer lists and thus attracts special attention. In case of offers with the Ticketcorner Ticketcheck Logo, every interested buyer immediately knows:

        • the tickets were checked for validity
        • mistakes are excluded for the most important ticket information, since the information comes directly from our system
        • the buyer enjoys the extended buyer protection including the Ticketcorner authenticity guarantee
        "

What is the fair deal symbol?
If you list your Ticketcorner tickets at the original price on fanSALE, you will receive the Fair Deal symbol. This increases your chances of selling the tickets. More information about the Fair Deal can be found here. Please also note the terms of use.
I changed my mind and no longer want to sell the tickets I offered for sale. What can I do?

"By creating an offer, you have contractually agreed to sell the tickets at a fixed price. Deletion of the offer without any reason is not allowed. If your tickets cease to exist due to force majeure or have been lost in any other way, you have the option to cancel your offer under "My fanSALE" >> "Offers". "

The tickets I am offering for sale have been stolen or lost. What can I do now?

By creating an offer, you have contractually agreed to sell the tickets at a fixed price. Deletion of the offer without any reason is not allowed. If your tickets cease to exist due to force majeure or have been lost in any other way, you have the option to cancel your offer under «My fanSALE» >> «Offers».

Can I subsequently change the price of a fixed-price offer?

As long as your fixed price offer has not been purchased, you can change the price under «My fanSALE», «Offers» by clicking «Edit». If a part of your fixed price offer has been sold, you can also change the price for the remaining tickets.

How do I offer tickets on fanSALE?

"You can offer your tickets to other members as a fixed price offer. The advantage of a fixed price offer is that the tickets are only sold if the price meets your expectations.

To offer tickets for sale, proceed as follows:

        • On the homepage of fanSALE, select the tab "SELL".
        • After login you can start creating your
        • If it is a Ticketcorner ticket, you must first enter the barcode. In the next step, all relevant data from the Ticketcorner AG system will be made available.
        • Enter a fixed price. You can also split fixed price offers and specify a separate price for each ticket so that buyers can buy individual tickets from your offer.
        • Listing and selling is completely free!
        • Enter a start and end date for your offer. With fixed price offers, your offer must end no later than 5 days before the event, as the tickets still have to be sent to the buyer.
        • Then click on the button "Next", which will then display a summary of your offer. You can now list your offer by clicking on the button "Publish offer", or return to the entry form by clicking on the "Back" button and edit your offer.
        • At the end, you will be shown a confirmation page. At the same time we will send you an email with the details of your offer. How do I offer my tickets for sale on fanSALE?

There are two ways of offering your tickets for sale online. You can offer your tickets to other members either as a fixed price offer or in an auction. An auction has the advantage that you can be sure of finding a purchaser if you enter a start price of 1.00 CHF. The duration and start of the auction are determined by you. The advantage of a fixed price offer is that tickets are only sold if the price matches your expectations and, under certain circumstances, the sale may take place long before the end of an auction.

To offer tickets for sale, please proceed as follows:

        • On the home page of fanSALE, select the tab «SELL».
        • In the next step, you will move to an overview page where you can select which tickets you want to offer for sale on fanSALE. Here you can select between EVENTIM tickets, special ticket markets or other tickets. Please note, that subscriptions are excluded from resale.
        • After logging in, you can start to list your offer.
        • If it is an EVENTIM ticket, you first have to enter the barcode. In the next step, all of the relevant data will be provided from the CTS EVENTIM AG & Co. KGaA system.
        • If it is an «other» ticket, you will have to complete all of the relevant data regarding the event yourself.
        • Furthermore, you must complete the following sections:
        • In the area «Seat description», provide more accurate details about the seats; in the case of numbered seats, it is particularly important to state which seats they are and, in the case of several tickets, whether the seats are adjacent. Note: If you are offering EVENTIM tickets, the seat information in this area will be filled automatically. In addition, details about the seat type and category must be specified by selection.
        • Select between selling at a previously determined price (fixed price offer) and a sale at the highest price bid at the end of offers (auction). Enter a fixed price (in the case of a fixed price offer) or a start price (auction). Fixed price offers can be divided and you can set a price for each ticket, so that purchasers are able to buy single tickets of your offer.
        • Listing and selling are currently still completely free of charge!
        • To help you decide on which price to set, you can look on fanSALE for similar tickets and gain a picture of how great the supply and demand are. Alternatively you can use the Fair Deal Price as decision support to find the price for EVENTIM tickets. The Fair Deal price conforms the original price of EVENTIM.
        • State a start and end date for your offer. Your offer must end no later than 4 days in the case of fixed price offers before the event, as the tickets still have to be sent to the purchaser by UPS Express. Essentially, you bear the responsibility of getting your tickets to the purchaser in good time.
        • Then click on the «Continue» button, and you will be shown a summary of your offer. You can now offer your offer for sale by clicking on the «Publish offer» button, or by clicking on the «Back» button to return to the input form and edit your offer.
        • Finally, you will be displayed a confirmation page. At the same time, we will send you an e-mail containing details of your offer. You can call up the current status of your offer at any time under «My fanSALE». Your incomplete fixed price offers and auctions are displayed under «My offers». Sold auctions and fixed price offers can be found under «My sales».

        Questions about payment and fees

Which methods of payment can I use?
To buy tickets on fanSALE you can use MasterCard, VISA or Diners Club credit cards. The credit card details are requested when you buy a fixed price offer with credit card for the first time. The credit card details are saved for future transactions. When you enter your details for the first time, we will also ask you for the credit card verification number, an additional security feature that all credit cards are equipped with. The card verification number is a three-digit number printed on the back of the credit card in the signature field or immediately below it (in front of it the last four digits are shown, in some cases all the digits of the actual credit card number are listed). The card verification number is checked once by our payment system and is not saved.
You can also pay by SOFORT Überweisung (direct bank transfer service). Here you will be redirected to the respective partner and will be returned to our shop after successful payment.
How do I get my money back if an event has been cancelled?

In general, the official ticket price will be refunded by the promoter in this case. Usually you do not have to contact the promoter, but the ticket outlet that originally sold you your tickets. Whether the presale fee is also refunded, is usually at the discretion of the ticket outlet. You can sometimes tell which ticket outlet this is by a print or stamp on the ticket, or ask your salesperson where they bought the tickets. In this case, fanSALE can only help you to a limited extent, as we did not sell you the tickets, but only mediated the sale from fan to fan. For this reason, we do not know who originally issued the tickets.
fanSALE will of course try to support you. If the tickets were sold through the Ticketcorner network of advance ticket outlets (recognisable by the Ticketcorner logo on the tickets), we will usually be able to provide you with the relevant advance ticket outlet and its address so that you can send the tickets to the correct location for reimbursement.

Why do I have to provide my bank details as a seller if I have already saved my credit card number?

We will transfer the proceeds of the sale to your account at a bank registered in Switzerland. Therefore we need your current bank details. Please remember to update your bank details if they have changed since your last ticket sale. It is not possible to credit your sales income to credit cards. ?

Questions about the process after the sale

What happens after my tickets have been sold?

When your offer is finished, you will automatically receive an e-mail. After that, you as seller don't have to do anything. Ticketcorner AG will take care of all the processing (sending tickets and paying out the money) for you.

When will I receive payment for my ticket sale?

After the buyer has received the tickets and has not reported any issues within 48 hours of receipt, we will transfer the sales price minus the 10% service fee to your bank account within 5 business days. Depending on the bank terms and weekends in between, it may take a few days for the money to be credited to your account.

            Other questions for fanSALE

What should I do if there is something wrong with the tickets I have received?
"After receiving tickets with Ticketcorner Ticketcheck, please make sure that the ticket numbers match the information in the offer, as this is a prerequisite for claiming our authenticity guarantee. You should also check for other discrepancies between the description of the offer and the tickets received. Please log into «My fanSALE» within 48 hours of receiving the tickets and use the «Report issue» function (the deadline begins when the tickets are delivered).
To do this, go to the «My fanSALE» section and select "My purchases" and then the relevant order. Please describe as precisely and factually as possible which problems you believe are present. Try to reach an agreement with the seller this way. When the problem is resolved, please mark the issue as resolved. Please also note our general terms and conditions."
What do I do if an event has been rescheduled or cancelled?
As a rule, the tickets remain valid for the postponed date and do not have to be exchanged. If you are unable to attend the makeup date, it is usually possible to return the tickets to the organizer or advance booking outlet where they were originally printed and sold. The same applies to cancelled events. You can get information on where you can return the tickets in such cases from the promoter listed on the ticket. Always provide your ticket number in your communication, typically located above or below the barcode.
